| Graduating in 2006 from Mass Art with a degree in Art Education and Painting, I am pursuing both by teaching in the day and creating at night. I have been working in the Newton public schools in various long-term art sub positions, as well as with the Mass Art Creative Vacations summer program. This picture was taking during a Saturday Morning Studios painting class, helping a student spray paint. My paintings are a variety of oils, watercolor and mixed media. The subject matter is illustrative portraiture of lovely ladies and the imaginative world they live in, drawing the viewer into a vibrant moment. Alongside the ladies scurry animals and abstract work. I also love collage, photography and sewing. |
